Fawā’id al-ḥasanīyah fī al-mujarrabāt al-ṭibbīyah
The opening of a therapeutic manual titled Fawā’id al-ḥasanīyah fī al-mujarrabāt al-ṭibbīyah (Useful Information for al-Hasan on Tested Medical Remedies) written in the 17th century by Muḥammad ibn Thālib al-Shīrāzī. It was copied by Ahmad ibn Bakr ‘Alawan, who finished it on 8 Sha‘ban 1163 [= 13 July 1750] and made it for one Muḥammad ibn Yahyá al-Mawsili al-Shafi‘i.

Mukhtaṣar Tadhkirat al-Suwaydī
The opening of a popular epitome by the Egyptian mystic al-Sha‘rānī (d. 1565/973) of a "Memorandum Book" (Tadhkirah) written by al-Suwaydi, who died in Damascus in 1291/690. The treatise is concerned with remedies for various diseases, arranged in sequence from head to foot according to the location of the complaint. The copy is undated, probably of the 18th century, and was made in North Africa.

The opening a treatise on the treatment of colic written by Ibn Sīnā (Avicenna), who died in 1037/428. The text is written in a careful and decorative calligrapher's hand within frames of blue and gilt lines. The copy is undated and unsigned, probably 18th century.
