Kitāb al-Raḥmah fī al-ṭibb wa-al-ḥikmah
A copy probably made in India of the treatise on Prophetic Medicine titled Kitāb al-Raḥmah fī al-ṭibb wa-al-ḥikmah by al-Ṣanawbarī (d. 1412/ 815). According to the colophon shown here, the copy was completed at the end of the month (salkh) of Rabi‘ II 1226 (= about 19-23 February 1811).
Kitāb al-Ṭibb al-nabawī
The opening of a copy of the shorter version of the treatise on Prophetic Medicine by al-Dhahabī. The copy was completed on 18 Muharram 957 (= 6 February 1550) by Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad Ismā‘īl al-Ghazzī, known as (‘urifa bi-) al-Balmūfī.
Kitāb al-Maṣābīḥ al-sanīyah fī ṭibb al-barīyah
The final page of a treatise on Prophetic Medicine by Shihāb al-Dīn al-Qalyūbī (d. 1659/1069). In the colophon shown here it is stated that the copy was completed in the month of Dhu al-Qa‘dah 1228 (= 26 October to 24 November 1813). The copyist is not named. The nature of the paper and script suggests that it is an Indian product.
al-Manhaj al-sawī wa-al-manhal al-rawī fī al-ṭibb al-nabawī
An illuminated headpiece in a copy of the treatise on Prophetic Medicine, al-Manhaj al-sawī wa-al-manhal al-rawī fī al-ṭibb al-nabawī, by Jalāl al-Dīn al-Suyūṭī (d. 1505/911). The copy is undated; the appearance of the paper, script, inks, and illumination suggests a date of the 16th century.
al-ṭibb al-nabawī
The final page of the treatise on Prophetic Medicine by al-Dhahabī (d. 1348/748). The copy is dated in the colophon (the bottom two lines) 14 Dhu al-Hijjah 868 (= 19 August 1464). The scribe is not named, but the appearance of the paper, ink, and script suggest that it is a Syrian/Egyptian copy. Later notes have been written vertically across the lower half of the page.
Fi manāfi‘ al-aṭ‘imah bi-l-aḥādīth
The opening page of a treatise on Prophetic Medicine as it relates to foods and spices by Abū al-Qāsim al-ḥabīb al-Naysābūrī (fl. 1750). It is the only recorded copy this treatise titled Fi manāfi‘ al-aṭ‘imah bi-l-aḥādīth. The copy was completed in the month of Jumadá I 1206 (= 27 December 1791 to 25 January 1792) by the scribe Yūsuf al-Rasanāwī ibn Ismā‘īl, who copied it for Mahmud Efendi in Constantinople.
